At monday.com, ultimate productivity is the name of the game. To this end, we have launched AI capabilities to enable users to customize and optimize their processes on the WorkOS platform, making your work more efficient and streamlined.
Enable or disable AI capabilities
The default setting for AI capabilities on your account is "Enabled". As an account admin you can choose to disable AI capabilities on the account via the Administration section.
First, click on your profile image in the top right-hand corner of the page and then select "Administration". From within the Administration page, select "Customization" from the panel on the left, then click on "Features". Scroll down to "Enable or disable AI features" and select "Disabled".
If you wish you enable AI capabilities at a later point simply change the above setting to "Enabled".
monday's AI capabilities
monday.com's AI capabilities are based on three pillars that power the intelligence behind our products and our entire platform.
- AI Blocks enable you to quickly and easily harness AI with ready-made capabilities that can be added to your workflows, taking manual work off your hands.
- Product Power-Ups provide end-to-end business solutions powered by AI, to address complex real-world challenges, tailored to specific verticals or industries.
- The Digital Workforce is a team of Digital Workers who execute actual work around the clock. They are proactive self-learners who constantly improve through human-AI interactions.
How it works
Every account will receive 500 AI Credits per account each month, across all products and users. These credits allow users to access various AI powered actions on the account such as AI Automations, AI Templates, AI Blocks, and AI Assistant Apps.
What are AI Credits?
An AI Credit is a currency unit that measures the use of monday AI powered features. An AI Credit can be considered as any task that is intentionally set by users to run once, or as part of an automation cycle, using an AI powered feature.
- Successful AI Credit usage (1 credit per each successful request/block):
Email generator, feedback, and summarizer
- Unsuccessful AI tasks (no credit used):
When no value is changed with AI
When AI does not complete requested task
When error is received by monday AI
Preview results
Track AI Credit usage
Users can track their AI usage via the Administration page. To access this section, click on your profile image in the top right-hand corner of your account, and select "Administration". Select "Usage Stats" from the left-hand pane, and then click on the "AI" tab. On this page you will see how many credits the account has used for this billing cycle, and how much of the quota remains.
AI Automations can be combined with monday.com's custom automations. The example below shows a custom automation to change the date based on the Status Column, and then to use AI to summarize text in the Update section into a Text Column:
In terms of usage on your account, the above automation would be counted as follows:
- One Automation action- you will see this usage on the Automation actions page.
- One AI Credit- you will see this usage on the AI usage page.
AI Credit limit reached
When your account reaches the AI Credit limit, as an admin of the account, you will receive an email informing you that the limit has been reached. Within the email will be the option to purchase more AI Credits. Click on the "Purchase more credits" button and you will be redirected to the usage page.
Purchase more AI Credits
You can also purchase more AI Credits from within the AI Credits usage page within the Administration section. Click on your profile image in the top right-hand corner of your account, and select "Administration". Select "Usage Stats" from the left-hand pane, and then click on the "AI" tab. Click on the blue "Get more AI credits" button and you will be redirected to a "Power up with add-ons" page. From here you can select how many actions you would like to add to your plan.
