Note: This article applies to customers who joined the monday Work Platform on or after May 6, 2026, and were offered to purchase seats and AI credits. How are AI features priced?

monday AI capabilities use a shared, credit-based consumption model. Each supported capability draws from a single pool of AI credits, giving your team one consistent way to understand and track AI usage across the platform. Some AI enhancements do not consume credits across the platform and are listed below.

An AI Credit is a unit of measure for the use of monday AI capabilities. An AI Credit is consumed when a task is intentionally triggered using an AI-powered capability.

AI Features and Credits Catalog

AI Credits are purchased in buckets and can be bought in accordance with the pricing plans in effect at the time of purchase. For details on available credit buckets per plan, see the AI pricing model article.

What are AI credits in monday.com?

AI credits are the unit of measure for your team's use of monday AI capabilities. They are included as part of your monday AI work platform purchase, alongside your seats.

How can I check my monday AI credit usage?

Admins can monitor AI credit usage from the AI governance section in the Administration page. From the Credits tab, you can review how many credits your account has used in the current billing cycle and see a breakdown by feature.

Can admins control access to monday AI features?

Yes. Admins can manage AI access from the AI governance section in the Administration page. On the Enterprise plan, the AI permissions tab gives admins more detailed control over which account roles can access specific AI capabilities.

What happens when my monday AI credits run out?

As your account approaches its AI credit limit, notifications are triggered at 80% and 100% of usage, giving your team time to take action before additional AI usage may be restricted. Contact our support team or your Account Team to upgrade to the next AI credit bucket.
