Share and Analyze your WorkForm

With the same ease it took to create your WorkForm, you can seamlessly share your form, collect responses, and analyze the results with AI highlights. Just like that- bing, bang, boom! 💥

This article will take a look at the various methods of sharing, automating and analyzing your form, ensuring you have all the information you need to maximize your WorkForm experience.

Preview your finalized WorkForm

Want to test-run your WorkForm before you share it? When you open your form's board view, you will see your finalized Workform immediately! Here, you'll be able to view and enter submissions to the form, just like your responders will after you send out your form.

Share your WorkForm

The magic moment has arrived; it's now time to share your completed WorkForm! To do so, click on the Share form button in the form view. From the window that appears, you can choose to share your WorkForm with others via a shareable link, by embedding your form in a webpage, or sharing it via a variety of social channels!

Note: You can enable form translation by AI in your WorkForms settings and permissions enabling submitters to view the form in up to 50 languages!

In addition, before sharing a link with your desired audience, you can choose to shorten your form link. All you have to do is click on the checkbox next to Shorten URL, and you'll see the link to your WorkForm shrink significantly.

Automate your WorkForm

To further streamline the process of collecting your WorkForm responses, we offer several dedicated WorkForm automation recipes that let you create automated actions based on form submissions!

To access this, click the Integrate button at the top-right of your board, then search for WorkForms. After selecting WorkForms Automations, you'll be able to access all of our available recipes to help reduce the manual work you have to do after a form is submitted.

For example, using the recipe "When form is submitted, set date to today," you can instantly add the form submission date to an item without manually entering it.

Tip: By integrating Slack with your monday.com boards, you can automate notifications to teammates via Slack when a new form is submitted.

Collect and analyze responses

Once your completed WorkForm has been shared, you'll be able to track all responses by clicking on the Results button in the top left-hand corner of your form view. By selecting the options on the left-hand side of the screen, you can view your results either as a Summary or through the data's Analytics.

  • Summary

By clicking on Summary, you'll get an instant, interactive overview of your form results displayed as pie charts, bar graphs, and tables. Analyzing and extracting insights from your form responses has never been easier.

Tip: If you would like to see the time and date of each WorkForm submission, you can add a Creation Log Column to your board. This column will indicate the date and time of each new item added to your board via a form submission.

For text-based questions, you can also use the WorkForms highlights feature to generate summaries of the answers from form submissions.

Select the Highlights button at the top right corner of the question summary and then select Generate Highlights. The AI tool will then generate a summary for the different form submissions, providing a clear breakdown into main topics and subtopics.

Note: Insights via the highlights feature will only generate when there are at least five form submissions.

  • Analytics

This Analytics feature provides insights into your form. Including submission rate, average submission time, and split by geolocation, browser, and device of the form submitters. This is a great way to understand how your forms are being used, identify areas for improvement, and make better, data-driven decisions.

All information displayed on the analytics page represents data collected in the last 30 days since publishing your form.

Tip: You also have endless possibilities to visualize the data you collect using board views and Dashboards.
