Create your first canvas

  • Start from scratch

To open up a blank canvas, select "New canvas" from under "Create a new canvas".

Organize your WorkCanvas

One way to effectively organize your WorkCanvas is by creating projects. Projects are a collection of canvases in a folder. Projects make it easier to organize, find, and share your canvases. You can create and manage projects in the left-hand panel of your home page.

Select the ‘+’ icon next to "Projects". From here, you can title your project, invite teammates and add existing canvases, to start working together on that project.

Alternatively, you can also move a canvas between Teams and Projects in your homepage. Click on the three dots in the top right-hand corner of the canvas, and select "Move canvas". You can then select which Team and Project you would like to move the canvas to.

Note: You will only be able to move a canvas into a project that you have access to. Once you move the canvas to a specific project, all members in that project will have access to that canvas.

Managing all your canvases

Under "My canvases" on your home page you can manage all of your canvases. You can access a quick menu for each canvas by clicking on the three dots in the upper right-hand corner of each canvas. From here you can choose to copy the link to that specific canvas, duplicate that canvas, or delete the canvas.

Note: Members will only be able to delete canvases that they have created themselves.

Present and export your WorkCanvas

Wanting to display your canvas to showcase what you have been working on? Done! You can choose to either present your canvas through presentation mode or by exporting your canvas to a png.

  • Presentation mode

To access presentation mode, select the "Present" icon at the bottom left-hand side of your canvas. This will open up your various frames as slides, making it easy to navigate through your canvas and showcase your work.

  • Export your WorkCanvas to PNG

If you prefer to display your canvas as a PNG, you can export the canvas. Select the "Export" icon at the bottom left-hand corner of your canvas. You can then determine the quality of the image you would like to save.  Presentation mode will only display items defined within a Frame. However, all items on your canvas will be exported to a PNG, regardless of having a frame or not.

  • Export your WorkCanvas to PDF

You can also export your canvas as a PDF, which will preserve the formatting and layout of your canvas with multiple pages, in chronological order, in one PDF file. The PDF export suits text-heavy content, reports, presentations, and print-ready documents. Once in PDF format, you can also add features like encryption, annotations, and digital signatures to your file!
