When the widget's settings open, you'll see a preview of the insights for your item on the left. This is based on the settings as you configure them on the right. In the first section of the settings on the right, you can customize all signals. Lower in this menu, you can customize individual signals.

Customize all signals

To customize all signals, you can filter your signals by the status column. You can leverage monday AI to help with this process. This allows you to choose when and how signals appear and reduce noise by muting any signals you don't need.

Choose a status column

Choose a status column on your board that you want to be associated with the Deal insights widget:

Mute all signals with a status label

When you select a column, you can choose multiple status labels. When a deal is assigned one of your chosen labels, all signals will be muted:

Customize individual signals

Several positive and negative signals help your team evaluate a deal's health. You can choose which signals to leave on and which to turn off.

Choose your positive signals

You can choose which positive signals to include in your evaluation. Use the toggle to turn on or turn off any of the signals.

The signals are:

  • High engagement. You've had frequent recent interactions that show strong buyer interest.
  • Schedules next steps. A meeting or action is booked, signalling clear forward motion in the deal.
  • Multi-threaded contacts. Multiple stakeholders are involved, reducing risk and increasing the deal's strength.
  • Deal stage advancing. The deal is advancing through your pipeline stages. This shows active progress.
  • Explicit buyer interest. The buyer has asked about pricing, timing, or the next steps, which are clear signs of interest.

Choose your negative signals

You can choose which negative signals to include in your evaluation. Use the toggle to turn off or turn on any of the signals.

The signals are:

  • No decision makers engaged. The deal doesn't include decision-makers who can approve or drive the purchase.
  • Not enough contacts. Only one contact is involved. This increases the risk of losing momentum if they go silent.
  • Customer not replying. There's been little to no engagement from the buyer in the past few days.
  • No scheduled actions. There aren't any scheduled meetings or tasks. This indicates the deal is at risk of stalling.
  • Negative sentiment. The buyer mentioned a competitor. This may signal hesitation and that the buyer finds more desirable traits in competitor brands.
  • Stalled deal. The deal has had the same status for too long. This indicates stagnation and demonstrates a risk of losing momentum.
    • Note: You must choose a status column to turn this signal on.
  • No rep activity. There hasn't been any rep activity during the specified lookback period. This lack of follow-up signals risk.
  • Overdue closed date. The deal has passed its expected close date, indicating potential delays or issues.
    • Choose a date column
    • If you choose to turn on the Overdue closed date signal, you must choose a date column to use with the widget

Adjust a signal's parameters

Many signals also allow you to choose custom parameters. From adding status labels as a condition for muting a signal to customizing the timeframe that a signal references, you can customize your widget's settings to ensure that you'll always see the most relevant data for your team.

Add status labels

If you choose a status column in the Customize all signals section, you can then choose additional status labels to mute individual signals.

For example, you may want to mute the Stalled deal signal if your status label is New Lead.

Adjust timeframes

You can also choose timeframes for time-based signals.

For example, for the Stalled deal signal, you can choose the number of days without progress in the deal's status before this signal becomes active.

You will also see the option to customize the Lookback days on several signals. For the No rep activity signal, you can choose the number of days in the past that will be considered.
