When signing up for a monday.com trial, you will automatically join our free Pro plan trial. This article reviews all of the frequently asked questions about the free trial.
Length of the trial
The trial period is 14 days. You can keep track of the remaining days in the Billing section of the account. To get there, click on your profile picture and select "Administration". Now, choose "Billing" in the left panel, and you'll see all of your current plan details in an overview, including how much trial time you have left.
Trial the Pro plan
The free trial is based on the Pro plan, which is our most popular plan. Trialing the Pro plan will allow you to try our platform's most advanced features.
At this time, we don't offer trials of different plans. We believe that the Pro plan is the best way to experience the platform's potential for your team. 😊
Included features
- Shareable boards
Shareable Boards are boards that you are able to work with outside users (guests). It offers you the ability to share projects with your outside users without giving them access to your full account. To learn more about the shareable boards, click here.
- Private boards
A private board will only be seen by the member who created the board and anyone that they invite to the board. This board type is great for when you would like to create a project, to-do list, or plan before executing it with your team. To learn more about private boards, click right here.
- Advanced permission and restriction settings
You can control who can see and edit content through permissions and restrictions applied to individual columns. Check out this article to learn more.
- The Formula Column
This column allows you to perform calculations using the data from other columns. It goes from simple mathematical equations to more complex functions and formulas. Learn more about it right here.
- The Time Tracking Column
Wondering how much time you spend on each task? You now have the ability to track it with the time tracking column! ⏰ Check out how it works in this article.
- The Workload View
Add the workload view to your board and get a clear overview of how your team's work is divided! You can see in one glance who is over capacity and assign upcoming tasks accordingly. If needed, you can always reassign or change due dates to make sure everyone stays on target with the number of tasks they can complete within the given timeframe.
- The Calendar View
The calendar view allows you to visualize all your tasks that have a date and/or timeline column in a calendar. You can customize your calendar view per day, week, or month. You can also decide which column you want to appear on your calendar. Check out this article to learn more about it.

- The Chart View

- Advanced filter search
With Search Everything, you can search for anything across all of your account (files, updates, items). You can also use the board filter to filter any information within a board.
- 25,000 Automations/ Integrations
Do you want to remove manual steps and automate your processes? Looking to integrate monday.com with other platforms? On the Pro plan, you are allotted 25,000 actions for Automations and 25,000 actions for Integrations each month. - 20 boards per dashboard
Dashboards are a great way to display what's important in just one place. With 15 available widgets, team members can now understand project progress, track budget, estimate workload, and much more! On the Pro plan, you can create as many dashboards and widgets as you’d like. But keep in mind—each dashboard can contain information from 20 boards.
- Google Authentication
Google Authentication allows you to login to your monday.com account through your Google account for extra security and less passwords to remember.
After your trial
Moving forward with monday.com
Once your trial expires, you have two options:
- You can upgrade to a paid account: Basic, Standard, Pro, or Enterprise. To learn how to upgrade your account, check out this article.
- You can choose to continue with a free plan.
Ending your account
If you choose not to continue with monday.com, your account will become inactive when the trial ends. No worries—you will not be charged. Any members invited to your account during the trial will see that the account is inactive when they attempt to sign in.
