Connect monday MCP with Mistral AI's le Chat

This guide will walk you through how to integrate monday MCP with Mistral AI's le Chat using its MCP Connectors directory. Once connected, you can explore boards, create items, and generate reports directly from your le Chat conversations.

Prerequisites

MCP is preinstalled on all monday.com accounts.
If you can't connect, ask your admin to check Admin → Permissions → AI Connectors. See Managing AI Connectors & MCP Access for more information.
Mistral AI le Chat account (you must be an Admin to add connectors)
OAuth consent for monday.com when prompted in le Chat

How to connect monday MCP and le Chat

In le Chat, open the toggle panel, expand Intelligence and click on Connectors.

Click on + Add Connector, to open the MCP Connectors directory.

Search for and select monday.com in the directory and then click on Add.

Choose the monday.com connector and click on Connect.

When redirected, authorize access to monday.com using OAth.

Start a new chat and then click on the tools menu to make sure the monday.com connector is enabled. Test with "list my boards."

Troubleshooting

Connector not visible? Confirm you're an Admin and try searching the directory again.
Admin required? Only Admin users can add connectors in le Chat.
Authorization failed? Ensure your admin has enabled AI Connectors. See Managing AI Connectors & MCP Access for more information.
Connection timeout? Check internet connectivity and firewall/proxy settings.
Tools not showing? Verify the connector is enabled for your current chat.
Permissions error? Confirm your monday.com user has access to the boards you are querying.
