Integration blocks in monday.com's workflow builder let you connect external tools and services directly into your workflows. Each block represents an integration action, like sending data to another platform or receiving updates from one, so you can automate cross-platform processes without leaving monday.com.
This article shows how to add, customize, and manage integration blocks from our most popular integrations to build smarter, connected workflows.

MCP block
The MCP block is a workflow builder block that calls an external tool or system through the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Instead of being limited to actions inside monday.com, you can use this block to reach any system that has its own MCP server, turning your workflow into a bridge between monday.com and the rest of your tech stack.
With the MCP block, you can trigger actions in tools like GitHub or Salesforce directly from monday.com, without writing code.
Add an MCP block to your workflow, then connect it to the external system you want to reach by providing that system's MCP server endpoint and the required credentials or API key. Once connected, you can configure the block to trigger the action you need in that external tool, such as creating a GitHub issue or updating a Salesforce record, as a step in your monday.com workflow.
The MCP block only works with systems that expose their own MCP server. Not all third-party tools support this yet.
Additional integrations
The following integrations support actions, but not triggers.
