How do I use workdocs in the Files Column?
Click within the Files Column cell you'd like to use and select "Doc" from the dropdown menu:
Choose either "Connect existing Doc," "New Doc," or "Doc Templates." Read on for more information into each of these options! 😊
How do I create a new Doc?
Press "New Doc" in the lower left corner of the dropdown menu:
A new Doc will immediately be created. The new Doc will have the board, item, and Files Column name so you can easily see at a glance what it corresponds to! Additionally, you can change the name of the Doc to a more suitable title based on your preferences!
Now it's easier than ever to connect workdocs already found in your workspace to your Files Column. Choose any workdoc you are subscribed to in the list under "Connect existing Doc":
There's no need to create an entirely new Doc every time you wish to add one to your Files Column! We make it easy for you to choose a Doc template that you already have saved to your Template center! Click on "Doc Templates" in the lower right hand corner of the dropdown menu and you will be redirected to your Doc Template center.
