With the monday marketplace, you can find ready-made apps to expand the capabilities of the monday.com platform and fit the unique needs of your business’s workflows, processes, and projects.
The marketplace features apps developed by third-party partners as well as apps built by the monday team using the apps framework.
How to install monday apps
Access the monday marketplace
To find the monday marketplace, click on the small puzzle icon on the top right of your account. Alternatively, you can also go to your profile picture on the top right corner of your account and click on Apps marketplace to locate it.
Browse and filter the apps with ease
The marketplace contains a number of amazing apps that can power your reporting or allow you to integrate other platforms to streamline your workflows.
To locate the app you desire, browse the categories on the top of the screen, scroll through featured apps on the home page, or simply use free text to search exactly what you're looking for.
Review the functionality of an app
When you click on an app, you can scroll down on the app's main page to learn more about the features and capabilities that it will add to your monday.com account, the pricing, security & compliance, permissions it requires, and more.
From here, you can also see the team that built this app and their contact information in case you need support installing or using the app.
Test the app
Some apps offer a free demo experience that allows you to test the app before installing it. With just the click of a button, you can create a test account and see all of the app's features and functionality.
The test account doesn't use any of your account data, so you don't need admin approval to try it out. All you have to do is click the App demo button on the app's main page to use the demo experience.
Install the app
When you're ready to install an app, click on the blue Install app button. On the page that appears, you can select if you'd like to add the app to all workspaces or a specific workspace on your account. Click on Install again to agree to the terms of service and proceed.
If you're not an account admin, instead of the Install app button, you'll notice that it says Request to add instead. Clicking on this will send a request to your admins to approve the app installation.
Once your install request has been approved or denied, you will receive a confirmation email and see the reflected status updated on the app listing page.
Use the app
Now that you've installed the app, it's ready to use on your account! Once you've completed the installation, the installed app will open on the selected board or dashboard. For integrations added, you will be redirected to the Integrations Center on the selected board so you can begin using your app right away.
Add to favorites
To easily keep track of your favorite and most used apps, you can add an app to your Favorites. To do this, navigate to the app you'd like to add and click on the star that appears next to its name.
To look at all of your favorite apps, head to the monday marketplace home page and click on the Favorites button:

Manage apps on your account

Security and the monday apps marketplace
Our team reviews apps in our marketplace built by external partners. However, we cannot certify the functionality or security of each app.
For this reason, we recommend reading the Security & Compliance section within each app page to get a full picture of an app's security.
Additionally, when you install an app, you will see a list of permissions that the app will have access to. We strongly encourage you to review each app and the permissions thoroughly before adding it to your account. Read more about the app marketplace security here.
Building your own app
The monday apps framework allows partners to build views, widgets, and integrations in a low-code environment. We give you the tools to build views and recipes, and you can build whatever your team needs. Check out our partner's documentation here for further assistance!
Getting help
Help with apps from the apps marketplace
Since many of our apps are built by external partners, we encourage you to contact the partner directly if you have any questions about the app's functionality.
Each marketplace app page has a link to contact the partner who created the app. Simply click on your app of choice, and you'll find resources on the right-hand side.

This is the best place to get technical help from experts and ideas from other partners who are also building monday apps. The community is managed by members of the monday.com team and experts from our community.
