Add a WorkForm
Getting started with monday WorkForms is simple! Click on the blue + icon in your left-hand panel and select Form from the dropdown list. You can choose to create a new form from scratch or start with a template.
A new form will open alongside a monday Main Table view, and a WorkForms Submissions Viewer board view. From there, you can begin customizing your form without exiting your monday.com board!
Build your WorkForm
The opportunities are endless when it comes to building your WorkForm, from the range of question and answer types to the visual layout of your form and everything in between!
You can begin building and customizing a WorkForm with AI by describing exactly the style and function of your form, and watch it come to life with a simple click of a button!
Whether you begin your form from scratch, via a template, or using AI, you can access the WorkForm editor for customization right away!
WorkForms settings and permissions
To access your form settings, which include various permissions for your form, click the Settings button at the top of your form. From there, you can adjust both general form settings and monday.com settings for your form.
These settings include features such as allowing multiple form responses, saving a form in draft, and the edit submission option!
Via the WorkForms settings, you can also enable translation with AI, allowing the submitter to select from up to 50 languages to view the form in!
Share your WorkForm
The magic moment has arrived, it's now time to share your completed WorkForm! To do so, click on the Share form button at the top right-hand side of your form view. Here you can choose further permission options for sharing. You can then choose to share your WorkForm with others via a shareable link, by embedding your form in a webpage, or by sharing it on various social channels.
When filling out long, complex, and multifaceted forms, submitters have the option to save their progress as a draft and return later to complete the form. At the bottom of the form, next to the Submit button, there is a Save as draft button. By selecting save as draft, the submitter's progress will be saved for them!
Collect and analyze results
Now that your completed WorkForm has been shared, you'll be able to track all responses by clicking the Results button in the top left-hand side of your form view. From here, you can view your results either as a summary or through data analytics.
