Integration blocks in monday.com’s workflow builder let you connect external tools and services directly into your workflows. Each block represents an integration action, like sending data to another platform or receiving updates from one, so you can automate cross-platform processes without leaving monday.com.
This article shows how to add, customize, and manage integration blocks from our most popular integrations to build smarter, connected workflows.
Slack integration blocks
These are the Slack Integration blocks you can use in the workflow builder:
Action blocks:
- Notify users
- Create channel
- Notify in channel
- Invite to channel
Important to know: Currently, you can only send automated notifications with Slack to one channel at a time.
Gmail integration blocks
When building your workflow, you can add these Gmail integration trigger and action blocks:
Trigger blocks:
- When email received - With the When email received trigger block, you can set up receiving an email as your workflow trigger. Choose any of your 'labels' or inbox categories in Gmail. When an email is received and is routed to the category you selected, then the workflow will be triggered:
Action blocks:
- Send email - With the Send email action block, you can connect your Gmail account and set up an automated email
Important to know: Currently, you can only send an automated email to one recipient at a time. You can't add line breaks or format text in automated emails.
- Search emails - search emails within a particular date range, to or from particular senders, with specific labels, or with particular attachments

Download attachments - download any attachments found in the email to a particular column in a specific board
Outlook integration blocks
When building your workflow, you can add these Outlook integration action and trigger blocks:

When building your workflow, you can add Microsoft Teams integration blocks to send messages to specific Microsoft users or groups directly from the workflow:
