Want to get a quick view and total sum from your Numbers Columns? Are you managing budgets across multiple boards and need to see a total cost for all your projects? Our Numbers Widget can help you do just that!

 

Add the widget

Click on "Add Widget" in the top left-hand corner of the screen and select "Numbers" from the dropdown list. 

 

Select your boards

Next, you will be prompted to select the boards you want to showcase in your Numbers widget. 

You can select up to a certain amount of boards depending on your plan. Check out this article for more information.  

 

Settings

You can customize what information your Numbers Widget shows. Toggle between "Count" or "Columns" to decide whether your widget will calculate a certain mathematical function based on data from your Numbers Column or count items and/or subitems. 

 

If you toggle to "Columns", you can choose the specific Numbers Column or subitem Numbers Column that you would like to count in each board under "Choose which columns to include."

 

You can customize your result based on your needs under "More settings options." You have the option to choose whether you want to display the sum, average, or a certain currency, for example. 

Finally, select the specific groups from the boards you chose. This is great if you want to see a particular group, or all your groups combined! 

 

 

Use case 

Let's say you are managing an event company. You could create one widget to track the budget of all events per month. In this case, we have 3 widgets where we can see the total budget of January, February and March for all our events. 

The Numbers Widget is great to get an overall sense of where projects stand numbers-wise and to keep track of total costs or numbers of multiple boards or columns, in one place! Use as many widgets as you'd like to organize all of your information in an accessible, organized way!
