The pop-up card is an amazing tool that allows you to edit the column details of your items from a board from other places! It is currently available through the Connect Boards Column, some widgets such as the Timeline, Gantt, Kanban, Workload to name a few, as well as My Work, and more.

How it works

The item pop-up card allows you to view and edit all column details about a given item. By click on any field (column) displayed, you'll be able to edit its content!

Connect Boards Column

The Connect Boards Column allows you to easily link a column on one board to the items of another board. Once you have linked the items between the two boards, clicking on any cell within the Connect Boards Column will open the item pop-up card showing all of the information from the linked item as shown below.

Any changes that you make here will be reflected on the connected item in the board that it "lives" in, as well!

My Work

My Work is a great way for you to see everything you and your team need to accomplish across your account, all in one place. It works by collecting all the items assigned to you and centralizing them in one place according to their due date. Check out this article to learn more about it.

To open up the item pop-up card, simply hover over an item's name and click on "Open" as so:

This pop-up will show you all the information related to this item. You can update information in the pop-up and this will automatically update the board the item belongs to.

The Kanban view

Kanban is a very flexible, visual and simple way to organize your projects and tasks and is one of the most popular project management technique up to this day.

If you click on any of the task showing in your Kanban, it will automatically open the item pop-up card. You can easily update your item from this pop-up and the changes will reflect automatically on your board.
