In some cases, such as when you're creating an integration with Zapier, you need to know a few details. This article will walk you through how to find the Board ID, Item ID, Column ID, or the Integration or Automation ID.
Board ID
The board ID can be found in the URL as soon as you open your board:
Item ID
Item IDs can be found in the URL after clicking into the updates section of the respective item. To enter the updates section, click on the speech bubble to the right of the item name. Once you're in the updates section, the URL will look like this:
Column ID
To find the column ID, you will first need to open monday.labs. To open monday.labs, click on your profile picture in the top right-hand corner of your screen and click on "monday.labs" as shown below.
Once you have opened monday.labs, scroll down to "Developer mode" and click on the "Activate" button:
When you exit monday.labs, your board will automatically refresh. Click on the dropdown menu to the right of the column title. You will then see the Column ID. In this case, the column ID is "tags":
Automation or Integration ID
To find the automation or integration ID, you will first need to open monday.labs. Once you have opened monday.labs, scroll down to "Developer mode" and click on the "Activate" button:
When you exit monday.labs, your board will automatically refresh. Click on the "Integrate" or "Automate" button at the top right corner of your board:
This will open the Automations Center where you will see the automations or integrations currently active on your board. With monday.labs activated, you will see the ID number for each automation or integration in the lower right corner. Click on the ID to copy it to your clipboard:
Trigger ID
The trigger ID is a sequence of numbers and letters that represents a specific run of your automation. To locate the trigger ID, you'll also need to make sure to activate "Developer Mode" from monday.labs as described above.
Once activated, to get the trigger ID, open up your Automation Activity Log by clicking into the "Board Automations" tab of the automations center on your board, and then clicking on "Automations Activity":
From here, locate the specific automation run that you are looking to get the trigger ID for. Then, under the Trigger ID column, click on "Copy ID" and you're good to go!
