What are Sidekick tools?
You can use your favorite apps directly within monday sidekick to get more done in a faster and smarter way.
This will allow you to instantly summarize updates, rewrite content, classify data, and more - all directly from within your workspace. Skills deliver instant responses and actions when you call on them.
How to add Sidekick tools
AI hub
Once you click on AI hub, you'll be redirected to the monday marketplace page where you can explore all of the apps that have Sidekick tools available. These apps will all feature the AI rainbow icon next to their name.
Browse through your options and choose the one that suits your needs.
From within sidekick
If you already have apps installed and see which ones have skills available for:
1 Click on the Sidekick button on the top right of the screen
2 Click on the skills icon on the bottom left of the sidekick chat as shown below
Choose from the list of skills available in the list to toggle on or off, or browse for more in the marketplace by clicking on "Extend Sidekick's abilities with new skills" and then Manage skills and finally on Explore new skills.
Using skills on sidekick
Once you've chosen the skills you want to use, you can finally get started!
Open up sidekick and make sure to toggle the app skills you want to use to on.
In our example, we are using the Gmail skills and have asked sidekick to send a summary of all tasks that have a status set to "Done".
As you can see below, sidekick sent the specified email address a list of all items on the specified board that have a status label marked as "Done".
