With the monday CRM Activity tracker widget, sales managers can track their reps’ emails and activities in a single, visualized view. The widget enables managers to make data-driven decisions, improve team performance, and prioritize deals effectively.

How to add the widget
On your monday CRM dashboard, click the blue + Add widget button. Select Activity tracker from the list:
Visualize your data
The widget aggregates all emails and activities that have been logged in your Emails & Activities timeline. The chart shows each type of interaction in a bar chart:
You can view your interaction data by sales rep. This allows you to analyze the total number and type of activities performed by each rep:
Use Advanced filters to further parse the data to find out what you need to know:
Widget settings
You can adjust your widget's settings to make sure you're getting the most relevant information. Decide which information to see on the Y-axis, which information to see on the X-axis, the chart type, and more:
Best practices
Follow these recommendations to maintain accurate data:
- Review your interactions regularly. We recommend using the widget during weekly or monthly team check-ins. This is a good way to monitor progress and align your team's priorities.
- Focus on key deals. You can filter the widget by high-value deals to ensure the most promising deals get the most attention.
- Team coaching. You can use the data to provide targeted guidance and support to your team.
Permissions
- View-only users can see the widget.
- In boards with item permissions, only board owners can view the widget. Anyone else who tries to access the widget will not be able to see any data. If you'd like to restrict the view of the widget, adding item permissions is a great way to achieve that!
Current limitations
This new feature is in beta. As such, there are some current limitations worth mentioning.
If you add a Connect Boards column to your board and any contact connected via that column logs emails or activities:
- Their emails and activities will appear in the timeline of the connected deal, indicating that they come from a connected contact.
- However, these emails and activities will not be included in the Sales activity tracker widget. We're working to include support for this.
Other things to consider:
- The widget can only be connected to one board. It can only display emails and activities from a single board.
- The number of interaction types displayed is limited to 100.
- Dashboard-level filters do not impact the widget.
- The user filter on the widget shows all users in the account, not just users on the connected board or users with timeline items.
- You must select a time frame for the widget. Once you make your selection, the selection can't be removed.
- Refreshing the page resets the time frame. The default time frame is 7 days.
