With monday AI templates, you can set up your board to run with the intelligence and efficiency of monday AI! You can choose from our pre-created templates to automatically use monday AI with several columns that flow together to support your workflow seamlessly. Read on to learn more! 🤖

What is monday AI?

monday AI is the incorporation of artificial intelligence technology into the monday.com platform. All of the tools that utilize monday AI were built internally at monday.com by a few different teams on a shared infrastructure.

Who can use monday AI?

When a user first interacts with monday AI, if monday AI hasn't been approved for their account, they will need to submit a request to their Admin for approval. When a request is made, the admin will receive an email. To use monday AI, the Admin must agree to the monday AI Terms and Conditions. This process occurs differently for Enterprise users.

Note: The terms of service for this tool differ from the platform's general terms and conditions. You must read the monday AI Beta Terms and Conditions before adding monday AI to your account.

 

The admin can also disable monday AI on the account via the Administration section. To learn how to do this, please visit the "How to disable monday AI" in the "Get started with monday AI" article.

 

What are monday AI templates?

There are a number of pre-prepared and fully customizable templates that you can choose from when building a board on monday.com. Whether you're looking for a board created especially for your industry, or simply a ready-made board to make your life a little easier, we've got you covered!

With the addition of monday AI Columns, we're taking the simplicity and ease of templates to a whole new level. Each monday AI template comes with a template-specific "Get started" guide. This guide will give you detailed instructions for how to make the most of your new board:

How to add a template

To create a board from a template, open the workspace where you would like your new board to live. From there:

1. Click on the blue + sign at the top of the lefthand navigation:

2. Then, select "Choose from templates":

3. In the Template center, open the "AI-powered" section in the lefthand menu:

Template #1: Creative processes

The creative processes template allows you to get your creative team's tasks and projects up and running in no time. It will summarize the task at hand and generate a creative brief automatically for the project.

AI will be set up for the following columns:

  • Request summary
  • Creative type
  • Creative brief

 

Template # 2: Feedback digest

The Feedback digest template helps you to analyze feedback from customers. You can use your insights to direct your product team and improve your bottom line.

  • Translate 
  • Summary
  • Sentiment
  • Category
  • Reply
  • Original language reply

Integrations

This template integrates with Slack and Gmail. These integrations need to be activated for them to work with your personal third-party accounts.

 

Template # 3: Support/IT processing

The Support and IT processing template helps you to categorize incoming tickets by urgency and sentiment. This template will automate assigning your tickets to the relevant expert on the team, auto-translate when needed, and draft a resolution email to send out when a ticket is solved.

  • defining the urgency
  • defining the request type
  • defining the sentiment of the ticket
  • defining the category
  • generating a TL:DR for the request
  • generating a reply for the requester

Template # 4: SDR assistant

The SDR assistant template will give you tailored discovery questions, translate interactions for further global reach, enrich lead data for deeper insights, and overall optimize sales interactions.

AI will be set up to assist with:

  • determining which service types the lead is interested in
  • generating discovery questions
  • extracting the domain for the lead's company from the lead's email address

 

Template # 5: Finance request handling

The Finance request handling template facilitates in processing requests. It will auto-translate when needed, detect sentiment, and categorize requests by type. It will also assign the right professional and close the loop once the request is handled by sending out an email at the time of completion.

FAQs

Why does monday.com require admin and user approval to set up monday AI?

monday AI requires admins and users to review additional terms and conditions that must be accepted on top of the platform's standard terms of service.

 

Are there limits on monday AI usage?

Currently, there are no limits on using monday AI. In the future, there will be limits.

 

Which AI service is monday.com using?

monday AI uses Azure OpenAI as its LLM (large language model) provider. By using Azure OpenAI, monday AI employs the security capabilities of Microsoft Azure.

 

Will data being processed by AI apps remain in my region?

monday AI is implemented on secured servers to maintain our data security practices. If your monday account's data region is the US, your input and output in monday AI will be processed on Azure servers in the US. If your monday account's data region is the EU, your input and output in monday AI will be processed on Azure servers in the EU. monday AI is not currently available for those with accounts in the AU data region.

 

Does monday.com allow AI to train models using my input or output?

We do not use your input or output to train machine-learning models, and we do not authorize others to either.
