Tools in Vibe connect your app to email, calendars, exports, AI, QR code scanning, and monday product data. Your Vibe app goes beyond reading and writing board data, so you can build scheduling tools, document processors, and AI-powered workflows in one place.

You add a tool with a single click, then describe what you want in the prompt box. Vibe wires the tool into your app for you.

What are tools in Vibe?

Tools are ready-made capabilities that you plug into any Vibe app. Each tool adds a function that your app can use at runtime, such as sending an email, creating a PDF, or analyzing a document. 

Tools fall into four groups:

• Integrations – Connect your app to external services such as Gmail, Outlook, and Google Calendar.
• Advanced features – Add a QR code reader or export content as PDF, PowerPoint, or Word files.
• AI tools – Generate text and analyze PDFs and images.
• monday product data – Bring in data from monday CRM campaigns and monday resource management.

How to add a tool to your Vibe app

1Open your app in Vibe and click + in the prompt box.

2Select Add tools.

3Search for a tool or scroll through the list, then pick the tool you need, for example Gmail.

4Describe what you want in the prompt box. Vibe adds the tool to your app and builds the functionality for you.

Once you have added the integration, continue setting up the connection via the steps in the vibe chat. For example, we have integrated Gmail with the app, and now we need to connect the email address associated with this integration. Select Connect, or use the dropdown arrow to add a different email address.
