Vibe Memory lets you save your preferences once so monday vibe applies them automatically. Brand colors, your logo, your working style, and app rules stay consistent across every app and every session, without repeating the same instructions in each prompt.
Use this guide to understand the three memory levels, set up your first memory, and keep your apps consistent.
What is Vibe Memory?
Vibe Memory is a set of saved instructions that Vibe follows when it builds for you. Instead of describing your brand or your preferred way of working every time, you write it once, and Vibe remembers it. This saves time and credits, and gives you consistent results across your apps.
Vibe Memory works at three levels:
- App Memory - Rules that apply to one specific app, from the moment you save them.
- User Memory - Your personal working style, applied across all the apps you build.
- Account Memory - Brand standards, such as brand colors and your company logo, are managed by admins and applied to every app built in the account.
How to add memory from Settings
Add instructions in Settings to give Vibe rules that apply to your app from that point forward.
1Open Settings and select Memory
2Select which level you want to add memory to: App memory, User memory, or Account memory.
3Write the instruction you want Vibe to follow, for example, "Use our brand colors in every screen"
4Save your instruction. Vibe follows it from that point forward
How to save a memory in chat
Tell Vibe what to remember while you build. Vibe automatically saves it to User Memory, so it applies to every app you build.
For example, you can write:
- "Remember this is my company logo, use it in every app I build"
- "Always ask me before making big changes"
With the second example, Vibe confirms with you before any destructive action across all your apps.
Set brand standards with Account Memory
Account Memory gives your entire account a consistent brand. Admins set brand colors and the company logo once, and every app built in the account uses them without any prompting from builders. Go to your Settings tab, select Memory, and enter all the information about your company you want to use to standardize apps created on the account under Account Memory.
Best practices
- Write short, specific instructions. "Use blue buttons with rounded corners" gives Vibe more to work with than "make it look nice."
- Choose the level that matches your goal: App Memory for one app, User Memory for your own habits, and Account Memory for company-wide branding.
- Start with one or two memories, then add more as you see how Vibe applies them.
- Keep User Memory and Account Memory aligned on the same topic to avoid conflicting instructions.
