How to become an account admin


The administration section will be accessible only to admin(s) of the account. The administration section contains important information, some of which is confidential and should only be accessed by those approved.  This includes information about your users, billing information as well as account security setups and parameters.

If you're interested in becoming an admin of your account, you can try the following:


Reach out to the current admin

If you are aware of the admin(s) of the account, simply reach out to them and get approval. They can make you an admin of the account if they so wish by following the steps in this article


How to find out who the admin is

Not sure who the admin on your account is? No problem, you can easily locate the admin(s) of the account by clicking on your profile picture on the top right of your screen and then clicking "Administration". 

A window will pop up showing you all the admins of the account:

From there, simply hover over any of the displayed profile pictures in order to display the name, email address, and other contact details of that given admin.


What to do if an admin has left the company

If a situation comes across where an admin has left your company and you now need to request admin access to your monday.com account, then we're here to help you through it!

First and foremost, we recommend following the steps above to understand if there is another active admin on your account. If you notice there is indeed another admin on your account, please reach out to them directly to inquire about gaining admin access to your monday.com account.
