Want to track the overall progress of your team and the projects being worked on? Our Battery Widget feature in Dashboards will help you do just that!
How do I add it?
Click on "Add Widget" at the top of the Dashboard page to see the list of options and select "Battery" as seen below:
How does it work?
Step 1 - Choose your boards
First things first: When creating your Dashboard, choose the boards that you want to showcase:
Next, you can customize what information your Battery widget shows:
You can see the statistics from any or all of the boards on your Dashboard.
Step 2 - Choose the status
Next, choose the Status Column from the boards you want to track. You will see the option to select all or just a select few columns you wish to see. This is especially useful if you want to track the progress of a specific phase of some projects.
You can choose whether or not you'd like to see your Subitems factored into your Battery Widget. When choosing which Status Columns to include, you will see an option to choose a Status Column within your Subitems as well! Just use the drop-down menu to select which column you want to see!
Step 3 - Choose the weight
Sometimes, some of our tasks require more effort or carry more 'weight' than other tasks. This can be an important factor to take into consideration as some tasks take much longer to complete than others. If relevant, you can select the desired weight you want to track for your project. In this example, we are choosing a weight filtered by the time estimation a project will take to complete.
Step 4 - Select the groups
Finally, you can customize your Battery Widget further by choosing select groups from your selected boards.
Analyze your results
Click on any of the statuses to see all items associated to it! This is a great way to see easily where everything stands without having to go to each board back and forth.
