Twilio Integration

Twilio is a cloud communications platform that allows you to programmatically send and receive text messages and perform other communication functions. Now, with our new integration, you are able to reach out and connect with your clients, employees, freelancers, and managers via SMS!

How to add it to your workflow?

Step 1

To add an Integration, go to the board you want to create an Integration for and click on the Integration button, located on the upper right of your screen as below:

Get your Twilio phone number

For these recipes to work, you will need to have purchased a number from Twilio capable of sending SMS messages. You can do this by clicking on the country you want and then "Get a Number" button in the bottom left of your Project Dashboard and purchase the best number for you.

Note: When using Twilio to send an SMS, the message will go to the phone number listed in the user's profile.

So how does it work?

To understand better how this integration works, let's dive into an easy example: when a pulse is created, send someone an SMS.

A. Choose your account First, select the Twilio number you want the SMS to appear from:

Psst – pro tip – you can have the SMS include the pulse name, board name and the user name by clicking on the relevant icons ;)
