The Auto Number Column

The Auto Number Column enables you to number your items sequentially, either within a group or across the entire board. It is an amazing column to use if you want to keep track of the number of tasks you have. It is also great if you have orders and want to have specific tracking numbers for them 1️⃣ 2️⃣ 3️⃣

Note: The Auto Number Column is not supported on boards with more than 20k items and linked items. For boards that exceed these limits, the Auto Number Column will not populate.

How to add it

To add the Auto Number column, click on the "+" icon located on the top right of your column name, and select "More columns". Once in the Column Center, search for "Auto Number" and select "Add to board."
