Since you can have as many monday.com accounts as you want, we made the option to switch amongst them as easy as can be! You can even stay logged in to them all at once and easily navigate between each account as you wish. 🙌
How to enable account switching on your browser
To enable account switching on your browser, follow these easy steps:
- Open two tabs in your web browser, and log in to two different accounts individually. You can do this by directly visiting the account's unique URL. In other words, log in to Example1.monday.com and Example2.monday.com at the same time in both tabs.
- Refresh both browser tabs.
- Follow the instructions in the next section of this article to access the "Switch accounts" option.
How to switch between accounts on the browser
To switch between accounts, click on your profile picture located in the top right corner of your screen, and then click on "Switch accounts" to open the menu of your accounts.
Click on the account you'd like to use, and log in!
How to switch between accounts on the desktop app
To switch between monday.com accounts in the desktop app, you’ll need to log out from your current session. This clears your session cookies and lets you start fresh with a different login. Start by signing in to one of your accounts. When you’re ready to switch, click your profile picture in the app and select "Log Out":
At the bottom of the login screen, click "Login to another account" to continue:
Once you’ve signed in to your other account(s), you can move between them anytime by clicking your profile picture and selecting "Switch account"—no extra setup needed.
How to switch between accounts on my mobile app
Looking to switch between accounts on the mobile app? Well, you can! This option is currently only for iOS users, but we are working on implementing it for the Android app very soon!
Click on the three-bar menu located at the top right of your screen to open the left pane menu. Click "Settings", like this:
Besides "Account", you can see which account you are currently logged into. To switch to a different account, click "Switch Accounts".
The green circle indicates the account you are currently logged into. You can click another account to switch to that account on your app!
To delete an account from this list, click the 'X' to the right of the account name. You can also add an account to this list by clicking "+ Add Account" and then logging in! Next time, you will be able to switch to that account without logging in again!
Can I merge two accounts?
For security reasons, you cannot merge two accounts entirely. However, you can duplicate your boards and dashboards one by one and transfer them to another account. Check out how it works right here.
Can I use the same email address for two different accounts?
Yes, absolutely you can!
