Overview

BIMI certificate support helps you turn email authentication into visible brand trust—by displaying your verified logo directly in recipients’ inboxes.

What is BIMI?

BIMI (Brand Indicators for Message Identification) is an email standard that allows your brand logo to appear next to your emails in supported inboxes, such as Gmail and Yahoo. Modern inboxes are crowded—and trust is harder than ever to earn. BIMI helps solve this by combining email authentication + brand visibility.

Instead of relying solely on sender names or subject lines, BIMI provides recipients with a clear, visual signal that your email is authentic and trustworthy. With BIMI enabled, you get:

  • Stronger brand recognition: Your logo appears alongside every email, making your messages instantly recognizable.
  • Increased engagement: Verified logos can improve open rates by helping your emails stand out in the inbox.
  • Enhanced security and trust: BIMI builds on DMARC authentication, helping recipients distinguish legitimate emails from phishing attempts.
  • Better deliverability foundation: Because BIMI requires strong authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), it reinforces best practices that improve inbox placement.

What is a Verified Mark Certificate (VMC)?

To display your logo in most major inbox providers, BIMI requires a Verified Mark Certificate (VMC).

A BIMI certificate:

  • Confirms that your organization owns the logo used in your emails
  • Is issued by a trusted certificate authority
  • Enables inbox providers to safely display your logo as a verified identity signal

Without a certificate, your BIMI record may exist—but your logo often won’t be displayed.

Set up your BIMI certificate

To use BIMI in monday campaigns:

  1. Ensure your sending domain is properly authenticated (SPF, DKIM, and DMARC with enforcement)
  2. Obtain a Verified Mark Certificate (VMC) for your logo
  3. Upload your certificate and configure your sending domain in monday campaigns

Once configured, supported inbox providers can display your logo alongside your emails.
