Connecting Google Cloud’s Gemini Enterprise to monday.com

Connecting Gemini Enterprise (in Google Cloud) to monday.com allows your team to use the monday Platform Agent directly inside Gemini Enterprise. To complete this setup, you will work across two platforms: the Google Cloud Marketplace and the monday.com Developer Center.

Use this guide to complete each stage in order.

Step 1: Subscribe via the Google Cloud Marketplace

The first step takes place entirely inside Google Cloud. Only admins can complete this step.

1 Go to the Gemini Enterprise listing on the Google Cloud Marketplace and click Subscribe.

2 Confirm your details on the subscription screen. Once submitted, your order will be approved automatically. Click Manage Order and refresh the page until the order status shows as Active before continuing.

Note: This is a Google-managed step. The approval process takes up to one minute.

3 Once the order is active, navigate to Gemini Enterprise inside Google Cloud and select Agents from the left-hand panel.

4 Click Add Agent, then select Agent via Marketplace. Locate and select the monday Platform Agent.

5 A setup screen will open asking for a Client ID and Client Secret. Keep this screen open and continue to Step 2 to retrieve these credentials.

Step 2: Create an app in the monday.com Developer Center

To generate your credentials, you need to create and register a custom app inside the monday.com Developer Center.

1 Log in to your monday.com account. Click your Profile Picture in the top right corner and select Developers to open the Developer Center.

2 Click + Create app in the top right corner. Enter an App Name (for example, "Gemini Integration") and an App Slug (for example, gemini). Click Create app.

Then:

Note: The App Slug is permanent and cannot be changed after creation. Choose a stable, long-term name before clicking Create app.

3 In the left-hand sidebar under Build, click OAuth & Permissions. On the Scopes tab, select all available scopes to ensure the integration has the permissions it needs.

4 Switch to the Redirect URLs tab, enter the following URL exactly, then click Save:

https://vertexaisearch.cloud.google.com/oauth-redirect

Step 3: Promote and install the app

Before you can retrieve your credentials, you need to make the app live.

1 In the left-hand sidebar, ensure your app version is selected and click Promote to live.

2 Navigate to Distribute in the sidebar and click Install app to authorize it across your monday.com account.

Step 4: Retrieve your credentials and complete the connection

1 Go to General Settings in the left-hand sidebar of your app. Scroll down to the App Credentials section and copy your Client ID and Client Secret.

Note: Keep your Client Secret private. Never share it in client-side code or public forums.

2 Return to the Gemini Enterprise agent setup screen from Step 1. Enter your Client ID and Client Secret in the corresponding fields and click Finish.

Once complete, your team members inside Gemini Enterprise can access the monday Platform Agent. Members without admin access can send a Request Access from the Agents screen, which an admin can approve.

Tip: If a team member sees a Request Access button on the Agents screen, an admin can approve their request from the monday Platform Agent settings inside Gemini Enterprise.

Important: Keep your Client Secret private. Never share it in client-side code or public forums.
