Overview

Emails & Activities are core to monday CRM. They store your team’s communication history—emails, calls, meetings, and logged interactions—directly in your boards and items.

With monday vibe, you can turn that communication data into AI-powered insights and workflows. Vibe can read, create, and update emails and activities, allowing you to build custom views and apps that analyze conversations, log interactions, and automatically surface key context.


 

What this enables

Using vibe with Emails & Activities allows you to:

  • Analyze contact sentiment over time using AI
  • Log meetings or calls through simple chat prompts
  • Surface all activities for a contact within a defined timeframe
  • Build communication timelines or health indicators
  • Generate summaries and insights from interaction history

How to use vibe with Emails & Activities

You can use vibe either as a view inside a board or as a full-page app.

Step 1: Open a board that includes Emails & Activities

Navigate to a CRM board that contains Emails & Activities data.

This ensures vibe has access to the relevant communication history tied to your contacts, deals, or accounts.


Step 2: Add a vibe view or create a full-page app

Choose one of the following:

  • Add a vibe view to the board.
  • Select a board and create a full-page vibe app

Step 3: Prompt vibe using “emails” or “activities”

In your prompt, explicitly mention “emails” or “activities.”

This signals vibe to unlock capabilities related to CRM communication data, including reading past interactions or creating new ones.

For example, you can ask vibe to:

  • Analyze recent emails for sentiment trends
  • Show all activities for this contact in the last 24 hours
  • Create a summary of recent meetings
  • Log a new call with notes

Step 4: Review the generated view or app

Based on your prompt, vibe will generate a custom view or app tailored to your communication data.

This may include:

  • Structured lists of emails or activities
  • AI-generated summaries
  • Timeline-style visualizations
  • Communication health indicators

You can refine your prompt to adjust the output until it matches your workflow needs.


Step 5: Create or update emails and activities
