Overview

You can capture notes, call summaries, and meeting recaps the moment they happen — directly from the mobile app home screen. Instead of searching for the right lead, contact, or deal first, you can write or dictate the activity immediately and associate it afterward.

This helps you log activities closer to real time, keep timelines complete, and avoid losing important details between meetings or calls.

Quick actions & shortcuts

The quick creation card appears on your mobile app's home screen and lets you start logging an activity with a single tap. To create an activity from the home card:

1. Open the monday.com mobile app.

2. On the home screen, locate the Quick actions & shortcuts card. Select the activity type — Note, Meeting, or Call summary:

   

3. Tap into the text field to begin typing immediately. Or tap the microphone icon to use voice-to-text

   

   Note: Draft saving is not supported in this version. If you begin typing an activity and leave the screen before associating and saving it, the content will be lost.
4. Continue to the association step.
5. Search for or select the relevant lead, contact, account, or deal.
6. Review the activity type and date if needed.
7. Tap Save to add the activity to the item’s timeline.

The next time you create an activity of the same type, the previously selected board will be preselected, saving time.

Associate the activity after capturing content

After you write or dictate your activity, you’ll be guided to attach it to the correct CRM item.

You can:

• Select from recent items
• Use search to find a specific lead, contact, account, or deal
• Change the activity type or date before saving

Permission checks are applied during this step. You’ll only be able to associate the activity with items you’re authorized to view, and the activity will follow standard timeline visibility rules.

In addition to the in-app home card, you can log activities directly from your device’s home screen using a widget. To use the widget:

1. Add the monday.com widget to your Android device home screen.

   

2. Tap the text area to open the activity composer instantly with the keyboard open. Or tap the microphone icon to start voice-to-text.
3. Capture your note, meeting recap, or call summary.
4. Associate the activity with the relevant CRM item.
5. Tap Save.

This allows you to log an activity immediately after a meeting or call — without first navigating through boards or items.
