Agent factory automation triggers help you activate your agents on your platform in multiple ways. This article will walk you through these different ways to trigger your agent.
Where to find the automation triggers
First, create your agent. If you need help creating your agent, please refer to the Create a digital workforce with Agent Factory article.
Once you've created your agent, click on the Triggers tab. Then click on + Add trigger:
You will then see a menu with all then trigger options available:
You can now choose whichever trigger you would like to use for your agent.
One-time Run
Activate your agent either immediately or based on a specified date and time.
To use the schedule widget, click on One-Time Run:
Add your trigger name, choose how often you want it to be triggered, and then select the date and time you want it to be triggered.
You can then customize your inputs like Contact Name and Phone number. You may also upload CSV files with contacts' information.
Recurring run
You can use the Recurring run trigger to run your agent on a repeating schedule. This is great for when you want to automate your agent to run more than once and at a regular pace.
Choose the frequency and time you want to agent to run and then list the Contact names and numbers you want the agent to reach out to.
Public website
To use the embedded agent widget or create a public site for your agent, click on Public website:
You'll be able to switch between creating a Public website or an embedded widget by toggling between the two options:
You can also edit the appearance of your agent by choosing the button text, title, body text, and button colors:
Once you're done, click on Confirm and publish. Then either use the general Page URL link or the embedded widget code to paste directly into your website.
Call your agent
Use the Call your agent trigger to connect a phone number for callers to interact with your agent.
You can connect a phone number by generating one and selecting the phone number type (Regular, Toll free, or National), country code, and area code. You also have the option of using a number you have access to.
