You can add a calendar invite link to your campaign to keep your target audience on top of activities or events that are important for them to know about. This article will walk you through how to add the link to your campaign.
First, navigate to the calendar that you are using. Whether you are using Google Calendar, Outlook, or Apple Mail, you'll need an account to create an event, and in some cases you'll also need to create ICS files.
Google Calendar
Start out by creating an event. Once it's in your calendar, click on it and then click on the three-dot menu. Click on Publish event:
Then, click on Copy on the second link that's under "Or copy the link":
Next, open up or create the campaign you want to add the event to. Then click on Edit design:
Use an existing template or create your own design. When adding a button, you can add the event link so your audience can save the event to their calendars.
To do this, paste the link into the button's URL as shown below:
Once done, click on the Save button at the bottom right of the page.
Outlook
Click on the Settings cogwheel icon and then click on View Outlook settings.
Then click on Calendar and then Shared Calendars.
Locate Publish a calendar and then copt the URL under Can view all details.
Paste this URL into the URL link in your campaign as outlined above. Once done, click on the Save button at the bottom right of the page.
Apple Mail
Once you open up Apple Calendar, click on the + button located in the top right left corner of the screen.
Click on New Event and then create the event.
Click and hold the event to create the .ics file, and then drag and drop the file to a service that allows public access, such as Google Drive or Dropbox so others can access the event.
To add the .ics file, click on the Link file hyperlink underneath the URL box:
Find the correct .ics file and then upload. Once it has uploaded, click on the file name, and click Copy URL.
Paste the URL link into the URL box as outlined above. Once done, click on the Save button at the bottom right of the page.
