In order to prevent our platform being misused to send harmful, abusive, or offensive email content, we have a content review process which uses AI that will scan outgoing campaign emails and block potentially abusive ones before they’re sent.
What does it look for?
This feature will be applied to every email campaign that will be sent out. A third-party AI service will analyze the email content for harmful patterns such as:
- Hate speech
- Racist or xenophobic language
- Offensive language
- Threats or harassment
- Explicit or inappropriate content
- Spammy phrasing or phishing intent
How does it work?
When you schedule or send a campaign, the email content is automatically sent for review by an AI content safety service.
If the content has been deemed potentially abusive or harmful, the content will then be flagged. You will not receive a notification for this, but its status will change to On Hold if it has been flagged.
Content that has been flagged will be:
- Stopped from being sent
- Marked as On Hold in the Status column
You will also see a tooltip with an explanation that says: "This campaign is temporarily paused due to a content review."
Lastly, you will be a new status that says On Hold in the Status column in the Campaigns board. While the content is under review, the Campaign is automatically paused and will not be sent out.
A monday team member will reach out to your account admin to provide more context.
If after a manual review the content is approved, the campaign will be cleared for sending out. If the content has been found to violate monday's terms, the campaign will remain blocked.
This review is here to protect your brand, your recipients, and our platform's integrity.
