Overview
When you send out emails, mailbox providers will take a look at your reputation, including your IP addresses, in order to decide where your email will end up. That means the difference between landing in your customer's inbox or spam folder.
Your IP reputation, domain reputation, and recipient engagement (both positive and negative) will all be taken into account when determining email deliverability. To avoid issues, use a dedicated IP address.
Why should you use a dedicated IP?
If you are a high-volume sender using a shared IP, you'll also share a send reputation, which could negatively impact your overall send results. Using a dedicated IP address will avoid this issue and give you full ownership of your IP's reputation, since you'll be the sole user.
Dedicated IP warming
When moving to a new dedicated IP address, an IP warming process helps you to build a positive sender reputation, which will determine where your emails will end up. IP warming involves sending emails at a consistent and gradual pace to avoid being blocked by an inbox provider.
With monday campaigns, we handle this process for you.
How we automate this process
We automatically warm up your IP address by limiting the number of emails sent from it each hour.
When it reaches the hourly limit, the warming IP address stops sending messages. The remaining messages are routed to all available IP addresses. If you lack other available IP addresses, our system will retry sending the messages for 72 hours.
