The Executive Sprint Summary will allow your team to effortlessly access a detailed overview of the sprint's performance along with AI-generated insights to help plan for your next sprint. Let's dive into how it works.

What is the Executive Sprint summary?

The Executive Sprint Summary feature doesn't just compile data, but actually analyzes your sprint's performance and offers actionable insights and recommendations on what to do next. It's like having an instant strategic sprint advisor available to you in just one click.

How it works

The Executive Sprint Summary is automatically generated once you click the Complete button on a sprint. An AI-generated document is created, which can be found in the Sprint Summary column on your sprint's board. You and your team members will then receive a notification with a full summary of the sprint.

The sprint summary can also be found through the sprints board in the three dot menu under Sprint AI summary:

Key points and recommendations included in the summary:

• Sprint dates - stay on top of when the sprint took place
• Highlights - a snapshot of your sprint's key metrics, including tasks committed, completed, and velocity
• Completed tasks - a breakdown of tasks by type, assignee, and priority
• Unplanned tasks - a list of tasks that came up during the sprint, which helps highlight areas that need improvement
• Recommended action items - AI-driven suggestions to enhance future sprints ranging from improving task estimation to enhancing team collaboration
• Agile insights - seamlessly integrated into the summary for a familiar and comprehensive view

The sprint summary feature is turned on by default. If you do not want the summary to be generated, you can turn it off in your board's settings.
