You can now easily copy your creations from Miro and paste them straight into your WorkCanvas, ensuring you don't lose any of your hard work.
Copy/Paste shortcuts
Depending on whether your computer is a Mac or PC there are different keyboard shortcuts that you will need to use to copy and paste elements from your Miro board to your WorkCanvas. These are a great time saver when migrating your creations from Miro to WorkCanvas, ensuring your utmost productivity 🙌
- Mac users
- Copy: to copy elements, press "Command C" on your keyboard.
- Paste: to paste elements, press "Command V" on your keyboard.
- Select All: to select all elements on the board, press "Command A" on your keyboard.

PC users
- Copy: to copy elements, press "Ctrl C" on your keyboard.
- Paste: to paste elements, press "Ctrl v" on your keyboard.
- Select All: to select all elements on the board, press "Ctrl A" on your keyboard.
Copy and paste elements
To copy and paste elements from Miro to WorkCanvas, go to your existing Miro board and select the elements you want to copy. Once selected, use your keyboard shortcut to copy the element.
Once copied, go to your WorkCanvas account and paste the elements in your chosen canvas by using your paste shortcut. Adjust the size and position of the elements to fit your needs 100% 🤩.
Transferable elements
The following elements can be migrated from your Miro board to your WorkCanvas without any limitations or restrictions:
- Sticky Notes
- Frames
- Freehand drawings
- Content grouping
The following are elements that are also supported for migration from Miro to WorkCanvas with some limitations.
- Text: can be transferred from your Miro board to your WorkCanvas, however, rich texts such a symbols are not supported.
- Shapes: there are 16 shapes that are supported in the migration. For shapes that don't exist in WorkCanvas, a placeholder shape will be created to replace the missing shape, after which you can edit the shape to suit your needs.

Images: any images you have inserted onto your Miro board will not be migrated, however a placeholder of the same size will be created so that you can easily insert the image onto your canvas.

Links: only one link per text-box/shape is supported in the migration. If your element on Miro has more than one link, only one of those links will be migrated.
