How is monday workflows different than Automations and Integrations?
The monday workflows builder uses blocks on a blank canvas to visually build out an automated process to support your entire workflow. monday workflows encompasses automations and integrations, but they are not limited to one board. Rather, they're built on the level of the workspace, spanning multiple boards. In this way, the workflows you build using monday workflows will seamlessly pull together every element of your work inside and outside of the monday.com platform to make your team more efficient. How do I know where to start?
Building a workflow from scratch may feel like an overwhelming task at first, but the thing about workflows is that they already exist whether you know they do or not! Sit back and think about what needs to get done. What steps need to happen to make sure that you and your team are successful at producing those deliverables? If your team is in sales, your whole workflow may initiate with the outreach process. What does that look like for your team? Does it start with a form where you collect leads? And what happens next? The best way to start is to trace back to your starting point.
Can I use multiple boards in my workflow?
Absolutely! monday workflows seamlessly works across boards. In fact, that's what it was built to do. It can connect every aspect of your workflow that's built out (or will be built out) on monday boards.
Can my workflow cross workspaces and products?
Yes! Your workflows can work across workspaces and products.
Can I make a workflow into a template?
It you create a template out of your workspace, your workflow will also be copied when the workspace template is used. To learn more about workspace templates, check out this article.
Who can see my workflow?
Your workflow can be private, public to your whole account, or even shared with external users. You can choose your preference when first creating your workflow.
