Facebook Ads Integration

Group_379.png

With the Facebook Ads Integration, you can use monday.com to manage your campaigns and collect leads all in one place. Make management easy! Read on to learn more about how to set up this integration.

Note:  You must have a Facebook Ads business account in order to use this integration.

Before setting up the integration

Our Facebook Ads integration has three recipes:

image_3__44_.png

1. Every time period, sync each campaign from account to an item. This is an import integration meaning you first import your active campaigns and then the integration is created. This recipe is automatically added to your board once you import the data from your Facebook Ads account. We'll cover this recipe in the "How to import campaigns" section of this article.

2. Every time period, sync each ad-set from account, to an item. This recipe allows for the grouping of ads together within an item on your board.

3. When a leads form is submitted, create an item. We'll cover this recipe in the "How to collect leads" section of this article.

How to import campaigns

Step 1

To add the integration, please click on your profile picture and choose "Import data":

Step 2

Once you click on the Facebook Ads import you will be asked to connect your monday.com account with your Facebook account:

Step 3

After you've connected both accounts you'll be redirected to the import page and be asked to choose the wanted campaigns to import.

Step 4

Select the ad account(s) you wish to import and a board will be created with all the active campaigns created in the last 24 months that are running!

Note:  Once a connection is made between your facebook account and monday.com it will remain valid as long as the integration is being used. If an integration is not used within 90 days of establishing the connection, it will expire and become inactive. You will then need to revoke monday.com's access from your Facebook account and create a new connection.

Step 5

Okay, this next step is SUPER EXCITING so buckle up! Once the import is done the integration will be automatically created 🤩🥳

Please note that the default time period for the sync is 'every day', so if you wish to edit it and choose a different time period, please click on the integration button.

Once on the page, you will see all of the amazing integrations we offer. Select 'Board Integrations':

When selecting which data will be mapped into each column, the integration column will be added automatically to maintain the connection between the parameters in both apps:

How to collect leads

The third recipe for the Facebook Ads integration makes it easy for you to manage any leads collected from a form created with Facebook Ads.

Step 1

To get started, set up a board with the fields you want to collect from your form. If you'll be collecting leads from multiple sources on this board, consider adding a 'Source' column to indicate which leads came from Facebook. More on the 'Source' column in Step 5.

Frame_444.png

Simultaneously, create the lead generator campaign with a form that corresponds to your board.

Step 2

Once your board is ready to go, navigate to the 'Integrate' icon at the top of your board to set up your integration. To collect leads, you'll use the following recipe: When a form is submitted, create an item.

Once you select the recipe, connect to your Facebook Ads account:

Step 3

On the next screen, log into Facebook or choose the option to continue with the account that you're currently logged into. Then select the Page(s) you want to use and choose 'Next':

Frame_441.png

Step 4

On the next screen, you'll see a set of permissions. Keep in mind that the integration may not work properly if you turn off any of the options.

Frame_442.png

Select 'Done' to move on to the confirmation screen. If you change your mind about any of these permissions after leaving this screen, you can update these options in your Business Integrations Settings.

Now it's time to create the form on Facebook that you'll use to collect leads. Once you've created the form, you're ready to set up the rest of the integration.

Step 5

When you return to the integration set up within monday.com, you'll see the following:

Frame_443.png

From here you can select the Facebook form that you want to pull into the board. Then, when you select the 'item' option, you will have the opportunity to map the information from your form to your monday.com board. For example, this means you'll be able to choose which column on your monday.com board will hold information from the email field on your form.

Remember that 'Source' column we suggested in Step 1? Here you can type the word 'Facebook' into the 'Source' field so that every lead generated by this integration recipe will have 'Facebook' as the source:

Frame_445.png

Now, each time someone fills out the Facebook form, a lead will be generated on your board! ⚡️
