If you've been looking for a way to review all responses to surveys and requests freely and at a glance, you've come to the right place! Easily view all your monday.com Form responses in context of the form itself with the Form Response Viewer. Thanks to this feature, you can easily see recurring responses and requests and extract key takeaways in a glance.

 

 

Adding the Form Response Viewer

To add the Form Response Viewer to your board, click on the "Add View" button and select "Apps" which will direct you to the Apps category of the views center. There, you'll see the Form Response Viewer app which you can add to your board in the click of a button.

 

 

How it works

As mentioned above, the Form Response Viewer feature works along with the monday.com Forms feature, so make sure that this is first added onto your board so you can begin to collect form responses!

Then, once you've added the Form Response Viewer to your board, the responses from the form will appear on your Form Response Viewer in a form-like view (rather than solely as an item on your board!), allowing you to scroll through them freely and have all the needed context. You can move to the previous and next response with the help of the arrows.

 

 

Saving a Form Response as a PDF

Have a specific survey response that you'd like to export and show to your team or at an important meeting? You can easily save the response to your computer as a PDF by clicking on the "Save as PDF" button on the top of the view. A print window will appear with settings. Ensure next to "Destination" you select "Save as PDF", as below:

 

Filtering your Form Response Viewer

You can filter your Form Response Viewer by using the board filters to display the exact information you need. Let's say we're interested in seeing only the agenda items that were submitted through our form. By selecting the relevant variables, the filter will narrow down all the responses that appear on our Form Response Viewer too.

 

Don't forget to save your filtered view for an easy access at any given time. Simply click on "Save to this view" as below:

 

Change your display settings

From the settings menu, you can pick whether you want your Form Response Viewer to be in full view or split view. By selecting "Split View", you will be able to see your Form Response Viewer and the board itself on the same view simultaneously, as below:
