Keep track of your sprints

Break down your larger projects into smaller, manageable tasks and set your sprint goals with ease with help from the Sprint Management board! This board is where your team can manage their day-to-day tasks. Groups are categorized according to each sprint and items are the tasks that need to be completed within each sprint. Columns allow you to display and customize your sprints' data.

Our revolutionary sprint management app transforms your groups into sprints, equipped with dates, conditions, filters, and an active indication that feeds data to connected boards.

Tip: Groups and columns are specialized for sprint planning, but they are fully customizable depending on your individual preferences! Check out our Columns Center for inspiration!

Create task dependencies

Once you have added your sprints to the Sprints board, you can set dependencies and see how much easier your sprints workflow operates! A task dependency describes the relationship in which certain milestones or tasks rely on preceding tasks. Identifying task dependencies is of critical importance for both building and managing the sprints schedule.

The team can set the dependencies between the various tasks happening within each sprint and see how they are all related. This helps ensure that if a single task is adjusted, the change will affect all dependent tasks in the sprint.  Below we can see that fixing the search engine is dependent on the completion of fixing coding errors. This means that the search engine fix will not commence until the coding error fix is completed.

Prioritize sprints with Kanban

Prioritization is a key factor involved in sprint planning. Our Kanban View promotes transparency by allowing team members to see the state of every task at all times. Its simple structure and flexibility helps teams utilize their resources most effectively. This view shows items in cards categorized by status—Ready to start, In Progress, Waiting for review, Pending deploy, and Done.

Manage your epics

While you're working on your sprints, see the big picture of how your epics are progressing in our Roadmap board. This centralized, high-level board connects the important information found in your Sprints board. Each epic is connected directly to the relevant tasks in the sprints board so we can easily see the overall progress. Seamlessly oversee where your projects stand and visualize information easily, such as project's status, timeline and story points.

Manage your bugs

A bugs queue is a great way to list and prioritize any and all bugs that occur when a flaw appears in your software. Once you identify bugs, you can efficiently manage and prioritize them via a bugs queue. We've categorized each group according to completion status. We work in terms of prioritizing new bugs, tracking those that are currently in progress, and also keeping track of closed bugs where a fix has been successfully deployed!

Make submitting bug requests as simple as ever by using monday Forms! Forms allows you to customize and standardize the way in which your team accepts new bugs requests and, most importantly, reduces the need for additional requests for information once submissions are received:
