If you've received an error message when using the Jira integration, this article will guide you through resolving it. Each of the sections were designed to identify the cause of the error and provide the steps to solve the problem. It's important to note that these errors are related to Jira's API, and are simply presented to you on monday.com to notify you of any interruptions.
Missing mandatory field
This error will occur when a mandatory field in Jira has been configured but is missing in the item involved in the app's integration. The 'x' in the recipe is dynamic and will represent the missing field.

- Condition 1 - the mandatory Jira field has not been mapped to a monday.com column in the app configuration
- Condition 2 - the mandatory Jira field has been mapped, however, there is no data relevant to this column

How to solve it
You can solve this issue by heading into the integration recipe and mapping the required Jira field into an existing monday.com column. Change in Jira credentials or time-out
If there has been a change in your Jira credentials or log-in information, involving either your Jira password or the email associated with your Jira account, your Jira app will be disabled, and all recipes will cease to function. This is because essentially the permission you have given to monday.com to access your Jira account has been withdrawn from monday.com. This can also happen if the Jira app has not been utilized for two or more months, which has disabled the connection.
