When using the monday.com platform, we want you to be in control of how the platform display looks according to your own preferences! For this reason, we have three different platform display themes for you to choose from: light, dark, and night mode. 🤩

How to change themes

To change the display theme of your account, simply click on your profile picture icon in the upper right of your screen, hover over "Change theme", and then select the theme of your choice.

Available display themes

Light mode

By default, you'll find that the monday.com platform is set to light mode. In this theme, all of the features such as the boards, views, dashboards, inbox and more, are placed against a white backdrop.

Dark mode

Do you ever have those days where your eyes start to hurt and your head begins to ache from hours of looking at a bright screen? We feel you! This is why we've decided to create dark mode.

The dark color scheme uses light-colored text, icons, and graphic elements on a dark blue background. Colors look more vibrant, and everything looks extra sleek making it slightly easier on your eyes.

Night mode

And finally, for all the dark mode lovers out there that were looking for an even darker theme, we created night mode! With a greater contrast between the colors on your screen and the darker backdrop, you can reduce eye strain and work more comfortably in low light situations. 🌙

What turns dark with dark or night mode?

Everything! You'll see the color theme go dark on all of your boards, dashboards, views, notifications and more! 🖤 🤍 No need to enable dark mode on your individual dashboard or views - just one click of the button will transform your entire account! This means that if you want to see only one board, dashboard, or view in either light or dark, you will need to change the settings for the whole account.
