What is Dark Mode?

Dark mode is a dark color theme that changes the appearance of your app! The dark color scheme uses light-colored text, icons, and graphic elements on a dark background. Colors look more vibrant, and everything looks extra sleek! Science even suggests that dark mode is easier on your eyes in a low-light situation, meaning that you can use your monday.com app for longer without straining your eyes. Let's check it out! ☀️ ➡️ 🌙

Attention: Only Android users are able to change to dark mode from within the monday.com app. If you are an iOS user using monday.com app version 4.46 or above, you will experience dark or light mode according to your iOS settings. iOS users are unable to change to dark mode from within the monday.com app.

How do I turn it on and off?

Click on the hamburger menu located at the top left of your screen and click "Settings", which is located at the bottom of the menu. From within Settings, Select "Theme."

Click on "Dark" and see dark mode instantly come to life! The change takes place right away, so there's no need to restart or refresh your app!🌙

What turns dark on my mobile app?

Everything! You'll see the color theme go dark on all of your app's menus and features including board views, notifications center, inbox, and boards! 🖤 🤍 Let's take a look at some of these features:
