How to log in with the mobile app


Whether you're logging in to your monday.com mobile app for the first time or having log in troubles, this article is for you! We'll show you how to log in to your account using the mobile app! 📱 


Tip: If you don't have an account yet, this article will show you how to sign up!


Download the app

First things first. Let's download the app to our mobile device! You can download it by searching "monday.com" in your iOS App Store or Google Play Store or click this link for Android and this link for iOS! It should look something like this:





Log in with an email associated to one account

It's time to log in! When you first open the app, you'll see the welcome screen below. Choose your language by clicking the globe icon in the top right-hand corner. You can then select to "Log in" to an existing account.

Now, you have a few log in options. You can either enter the email address you used to create your account or you can log in using your Google account or Apple account (for iOs). If you choose one of the latter options and are already signed in on your mobile, you will enter straight into the monday.com app at this point! If you choose to enter your email address, keep reading!


Next, you'll be asked if you want to log in to an existing account or create a new one. Click "Log in". Check out this article if you'd like to create a new account. 


Then, choose "Check email" if you would like a login link sent directly to the email associated with your account or "Log in with password" to continue.


Note: Pressing "Check email" will automatically open the email app in your phone. The email address associated to your monday.com account might not be the email associated to your email app and if this is the case, choose "Log in with password" instead. 


Now, you can either enter your password or log in via your Google account, Apple account (for iOs), Slack account, or LinkedIn account.



Enter your account URL

In the event that our system recognizes more than one account associated with your email address, you'll be prompted to enter your account's domain. Don't worry if this slipped your mind, just click "Forgot your account URL?" and we'll send a link to your email!


Note: Enter your account's name into this field, and not the full website URL.  For example, if your account is called "yourcompany.monday.com", you would enter "yourcompany".



Switch between accounts

Attention: This feature is currently only available for iOS users, but we are working on implementing it for Android users! For now, Android users are required to log out of one account entirely in order to log in to another.


Easily switch between your monday.com accounts at the push of a button! Click on the three dots located at the bottom right-hand side of your screen and click "Account", which is located at the top of the setting menu. Once in the "Switch Accounts" page, the green circle indicates the account you are currently logged in to. Clicking the other account will log you in to that account.

Tip: Click the "x" to the right of the account name to delete an account from this list. You can also add an account to this list by clicking "+ Add Account" and then logging in! Next time you log in, you will be able to switch to that account.


Log in as a guest

If you've been invited to an account as a guest, accept the invitation request found in your email. you will be redirected to the monday.com app and asked to create a profile to access the board or dashboard you were invited to view.



Forgot your password?

If you forgot your password, just click "Forgot password" on the screen where you are prompted to enter your password and we will send a reset password link to the email address associated to your account. Use the link to reset your password and log in. 



Encountering login issues?

If you are facing issues while trying to log into your monday mobile account, the QR code feature is here to help. Here how to use it:



When signed into your monday.com account via the website browser or desktop app, click on your profile picture in the upper right corner of your screen and select “Mobile app".

Next, scan the QR code from the resulting pop-up window to log into your mobile app as below:2 (1).png


That's it, you should be logged in!

When will the QR not help to log in?

There are a certain scenarios in which the QR code will not help with logging in. These include:

  • Error on the reset password page
  • Not receiving a reset password, confirmation, or invitation email
  • Signing up for a new account
  • When signing in via the web
  • If there are certain restrictions on your account
