It can be difficult to track and manage all of your company's leads, especially if they're collected from several places or if you have a large sales team. That's why we have included a leads management board in our monday sales CRM. Your sales team can use this board to collect all leads in one centralized location to track their progress and make sure no lead goes unnoticed.
Understanding your leads board
Your leads board is organized as a directory for all of your incoming leads. Each item in your board is a lead and the columns help you organize all of the relevant details and contact information.
The only group that has been added to this board is the "New Leads" group where you can collect all incoming leads. From here, you can maintain this board with just one group or you can add other groups for another layer of organization to suit your team's needs. For example, you can add "Qualified" and "Unqualified" groups or groups based on the lead's status, such as "Follow up", "Closing", "Prospecting", etc.
Crucial columns
While most of the columns on your board provide an extra level of organization when collecting and retrieving details about your leads, some of them have special capabilities. We want to highlight the following game-changing columns:
Create a contact
The "Create a contact" column is a Button Column that's been designed to keep all qualified contacts together in one place. When your lead has been marked as "Qualified" in the Status Column, your sales representative can click the "Move to contacts" button and this will automatically move the lead to your contacts board.
Phone
The Phone Column can be used to store the lead's phone number and even to contact them right from within your leads board! You can click the phone number and the default app will open up allowing you to connect the call without even leaving monday.com.
Import your leads
In order to collect all of your leads on your board as efficiently as possible, we've integrated a monday Form. The form is accessible to anyone with a link and when submitted, an item is created on the leads board. The fields in the form are transferred into the columns on your leads board so that all of your leads are uniform and contain all of the information you need to know.

Merge Duplicates
Importing leads from multiple sources or working with other team members on a shared board means there may be duplicates. We want to show you a system to identify and merge those duplicates using the manage duplicates feature.
Click the three-dot menu at the top right corner of your screen and then click "More actions" and "Manage duplicates". Now, you can choose from any of the columns on your board to scan for duplicates and click "Search".
If duplicates were found, you can tick the box to the left of the leads to merge them together!
Embed your emails and track activities
Email your leads directly from an item
Communicate with your leads without ever leaving your leads board by using your Emails & Activities app! Rather than switching in and out of different tabs and apps to try to get your work done, get everything done right on monday.com. Access the Emails & Activities section by opening the Updates Section of a lead.
From this section, you can draft a new email or choose from pre-prepared email templates as shown in the image above. An automation will notify you instantly when an email is read, and you can follow all correspondence directly within the item! Take a look at this video to see it in action.
Track and manage activities
Keep track of all activities related to your leads directly within the item on your leads board. Most activities are added automatically as they occur or you can add them in manually! You can log meetings, record call summaries, add notes, or create custom activities! Check it out below:

Manage metrics

Indications
The "Indications" column combines a formula and conditional coloring to classify your leads automatically. When a new lead is added to the board, this column scans the board for "Duplicated leads" based on the lead's email address and company, as well as for "Existing accounts" based on an existing item in the Accounts board.
Score your leads
We want to classify your leads and show you where to focus your energy so you don't have to worry about it. The "Lead score" column will automatically generate a score by pulling data from your lead, including the title of the employee, the company's revenue, and the number of employees in the company.
