Basecamp Integration

 

Are you keeping track of projects and to-do lists on both Basecamp and monday.com?  Now, you can stay a part of the conversation using our new integration.

Adding the Basecamp integration

To add an Integration, go to the board you want to create it for and click on the Integrate button on the upper right of your screen as below:Group 64 - 2024-11-18T183037.696.png

 

When you reach the Automation center, look for the Basecamp integration banner:Group 64 - 2024-11-19T110856.270.png

You'll then be prompted to connect your monday account with Basecamp:Screenshot 2024-11-19 at 11.10.54 1.png

Note: Only the admin's credentials can be used to set up the integration.
 

 

Enter your Basecamp credentials to log in:

You'll then be asked to allow monday.com access to your Basecamp account:Screenshot 2024-11-19 at 11.18.53 1.png

 

Once done, you have successfully connected your Basecamp and monday.com accounts.  

 

Working with the Basecamp integration

Now that your Basecamp account is connected to monday, we can start building out the integration and relay important info between the two platforms!

First, you will select the account within Basecamp that you would like to pull information from. To do so, click this account within the integration window and select the relevant account:Screenshot 2024-11-19 at 11.23.03 1.png

 

Note:  You will have to select an option for "this account" before you're able to select an option for "this project" or "item"

 

Next, you will decide which project within the account that you would like to interact with your monday.com board:Screenshot 2024-11-19 at 11.25.19 1.png

 

Now, you can go ahead and select the elements of your To-Do in Basecamp that you would like to appear in the corresponding columns on your monday board:Screenshot 2024-11-19 at 11.26.37 1.png

 

Once you click on Create automation, you're ready to use the integration.

Once you create a To-Do within your Basecamp project, you will see the information reflected in the columns we assigned previously as well as the addition of the Basecamp To-Dos column, which contains the ID and link to the Basecamp To-Do for easy transition between the two platforms.Group 64 - 2024-11-19T113637.215.png
