Overview
With Segments, you can create a list of contacts based on your custom parameters. This article will walk you through setting up a Segment to target specific audiences with your campaign.
Create a segment
Open Segments from the left side of your home screen:
Click + New segment to begin setting up a new segment:
Begin by naming your segment. Choose a name that is informative and simple so that the rest of your team can understand the segment or locate it at a glance:
Define the Segment rules on the left. This is where you choose which contacts will be included in the segment. This is dynamic. As new contacts are added, they will be added to the segments where they fit the criteria.
On the right, you'll see the estimated size of your segment based on your chosen rules:
You can add additional factors to filter select contacts from the first defined rule, or you can add an additional group to pull contacts from.
When you're done, click Save segment to finish creating your segment.
Edit a segment
To edit a segment, click on the three-dot menu to the right of a segment in your list and select Edit segment:
Make adjustments as necessary and then click Save segment to update the segment with your changes:
Delete a segment
To delete a segment, click on the three-dot menu to the right of a segment in your list and select Delete segment:
To confirm that you wish to delete the segment, click Yes, delete it:
