monday workflows is an easy way to automate a workflow on monday.com. It incorporates automations and integrations and allows you to utilize these tools in automatic processes across multiple boards in a workspace.
The long answer:
monday workflows is capable of doing so much for your team, that it would be difficult for us to easily define it!
For an HR team, monday workflows may be the tool that manages the application process for a new job posting by making sure the right candidates are seen by the right recruiters. For an IT team, monday workflows may be the tool screening, directing, and even occasionally solving IT requests.

And how does it work?
You build a workflow using the monday workflow builder. The building interface is a series of blocks. You create blocks that correlate with a specific aspect of your workflow and connect the blocks to make things happen!
It may sound complicated to teach a machine how to complete a process that your team has been doing for years, but the builder makes it simple. Think of the blocks like pieces of a toy house. Each piece has a place and each piece has a purpose. Once you build the house, that's that! You don't need to do anything more. Later, if you want to add a window or a door, you can!
