Open the pulse you would like to communicate on. To open it, simply click on the pulse's name. In this example, we will click on the gummy bears.
You will get to the updates section where you can add an update by clicking on the Pencil button in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen:
In the update you can @mention your colleagues and type your message. Once you are done, click update located on the top right of your screen to post your message.
Whenever you mention a team or a team member in a pulse, they will receive a notification on their bell and on their mobile if their push notifications are on.
Your colleagues can thumb up your updates. You can also see if they read it by looking at the "seen" located at the bottom left of your update.
